Will this earth ever be the same again?
How does the future look?
What happens to the present day of life?
and many more such questions - and with the business bend, skim the surface of various sectors and speculate on what will happen to its future - will these sectors be the same as before.
With our only freshman in college - wonder what that means - going to college - what does it look like in 2023 (graduating year) and beyond.
As patron of fine arts think of the artists whose earnings are via audience collections and via masses attending the performance - and think of the daily wage earner - what their next day looks like.
If I stop and reflect into the past - has there been one single moment in the history of the modern world or even in the ancient world where there has been a global or local "stay at home" health scare? only seen in the so-called Scifi Hollywood movies.
No, it has never happened - not in the vedas, not in the Ramayana or the Mahabaratha - not when Christopher decided to find a route to India nor when Germany built a wall to divide itself and not even when the wall got pulled down. Bandh's back in the days was a form of protest until realization dawned on the daily wage earners - riots used mobs, Tiananmen square event was a swathe of humanity - and now how did a 0.06 micron-sized "trans-living" (viruses are neither living nor nonliving - they stay passive, but to propagate they need a living organism - now don't get too wise and say that - these are parasites - no they are not as parasites are defined as one living organism that uses another - in this case, it is no really a living organism) decide to bring to the knees everything that the flat world was using to run its people. There are no religious outcries as COVID -19 went on a rampage - it attacked Buddhists and socialists and then the Shias and then directly went to the land of the pope and then hopped onto the land of the free and the home of the brave. It did not differentiate democracy or autocracy - it just decided to go all out. (To the extent that Miami reported the least murders in over a month)..
And society behaves in a damned if you did damned if you didn't.... So they want to Fora Bolsanaro whilst Elon feels it as fascism...Wonder what the dinosaurs would have done if they were able to see the metors incoming ... Que sera sera..
Humans have always shaken hands, hugged, and kissed (several times in several cultures) even as a basic way of greeting - now we are told to stay 6 feet / 1 Meter away? (Note to self -need to write about why we can't even come together on measurements)
How does this basic new etiquette meet the old normal .... there is a lot more that is between the ears from where this came.. wait and watch...
